Nightlight was born out of the stories of our team members and our own journeys with mental health. We acknowledge that many among us are in the midst of this struggle, while others are providing support to someone close to us who is.
Our hope is that Nightlight serves as a reminder that there is always hope to be found in adversity, and strength to be found in community.
That is why Dreambox Collective chose to support batyr with the proceeds of Nightlight.
batyr is a for purpose preventative mental health organisation created and driven by young people, for young people. batyr works to smash the stigma surrounding mental ill-health and empower young people to reach out for support.
batyr does this by running programs within schools and universities for young people. To find out more, visit batyr.com.au

It had been such an incredibly busy week, and when I sat down to watch this, I felt so relaxed. What an incredibly creative way of telling a story. Such beautiful poetry and music, to some very thought provoking art work. There were so many great moments where I found myself daydreaming and conjuring up imagery inspired by all the pictures. I really felt the 'feels'! My favourite was probably 'moon rise', so beautiful. Also, what great subtlety in the spoken voice. So much depth in a wonderful work! Thank you Dreambox Collective Team for this moment!

Absolutely stunning-I’m at a loss trying to describe the experience. It’s at once murkily surreal and strikingly real, a soup of light and darkness. The words, the music, the artworks all stand up on their own as exceptional and inventive. Together they soar.

Nightlight is a beautifully realised project that takes the reader on a nocturnal journey shot through with melancholy – but ultimately hope.
