Nightlight is an exploration of healing and growth in the face of adversity.
Dreambox Collective presents a transformative multimedia artwork experience, fusing illustrations by Sandra Brand, poems by Chloe Chung and music by Carlo Antonioli. Nightlight takes approximately 20 minutes to view, and you can come back to replay again at any time.
Dreambox Collective’s debut season, “What I Know About Love”, was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While some of the planned concerts were transformed into online events, others were postponed to future seasons. Nightlight was created to fill the void during this time of uncertainty, to delve into the issue of mental health (which was particularly poignant during periods of lockdown) and to foster a sense of hope – a light at the end of the tunnel.
This Dreambox project supported batyr, a for purpose preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people. batyr smashes the stigma surrounding mental ill-health and empowers young people to reach out for support, helping create communities that support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
